Our Story
From a village beach to your first wave.
Bali Sun & Waves started the way most good things in Bali start: with friends, a few boards, and a beach we called home. Gede Alit, known to everyone as Gedes, learned to surf on the same Canggu breaks where he now teaches, guided by older locals who taught him to respect the tide before chasing it.
Over the years, travelers kept asking Gedes to show them the ropes. What began as helping visiting friends became a small, proud surf school built on patience, safety, and warm Balinese hospitality. Today we welcome first-timers, families, and returning surfers from all over the world.
